Editorial Policy
This policy explains how DailyNutriHub produces its content: where our information comes from, how it is checked and kept current, how we handle mistakes, and how editorial decisions are kept separate from commercial ones. It applies to every guide on this site.
What we publish
DailyNutriHub publishes general educational information about nutrition, dietary supplements, weight management, and everyday wellness habits. We do not publish personalised medical or dietary advice, treatment plans, or claims that a product or approach will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a disease.
Sourcing standards
We base articles on primary and authoritative sources, in roughly this order of preference:
- U.S. government health and food-safety bodies and their published guidance — the Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the National Institutes of Health and its Office of Dietary Supplements, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans;
- position statements and clinical guidance from recognised professional and scientific organisations;
- peer-reviewed research, with preference for systematic reviews and large studies over single small ones;
- reputable secondary sources, used only to summarise or point to the primary material above.
We link to the specific source next to the claim it supports so readers can verify it. We avoid citing product marketing, unattributed statistics, and "clinically proven" claims that cannot be traced to a specific study.
Accuracy and language
We write in plain language and try to reflect the strength of the evidence honestly — using qualifiers such as "generally," "may," and "is associated with" where the research itself is uncertain, and avoiding dramatic or absolute claims. Where expert opinion is divided, we say so rather than picking a side.
Review before publishing
Every article is checked against its cited sources by a second member of the editorial team before it is published. We confirm that each factual statement is supported, that links resolve to the right page, and that the article stays within the scope described above.
Any tools used to assist drafting are treated as a starting point only; a person researches, verifies, and edits every article against primary sources before it is published, and is responsible for its accuracy.
Keeping content current
Guides are reviewed on a regular schedule and whenever relevant official guidance is updated. Each guide displays a "last reviewed" date. A review may result in no change, a minor update, or a substantial rewrite, depending on what has changed.
Corrections
If you believe something on this site is inaccurate, email contact@dailynutrihub.com with the page and the issue. We review every report. When we find an error we correct it as soon as possible, and we note substantive corrections on the affected page along with the date.
Advertising, affiliates, and independence
Some pages contain affiliate links, and DailyNutriHub may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to the reader. Advertising and affiliate relationships are kept separate from editorial work: they do not determine which topics we cover, what we conclude about a product, or which sources we cite. Advertisers and merchants do not review articles before publication. Product mentions are information, not endorsements. See our FTC Affiliate Disclosure.
Not medical advice
DailyNutriHub is not a medical practice or healthcare provider, and its content is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. See our Medical Disclaimer.
